I’m a self-taught artist who is working as a full-time nurse. I do acrylic/oil paintings of landscapes and animals. I also do resin art. I collect flowers and dry them. The flowers I dried are preserved in resin forever. I have created meaningful pieces that reflect my beliefs and values and connect with people on a deeper level. As a nurse, I have used my creativity and passion for patient care to help others meaningfully. Combining these two passions has allowed me to have a fulfilling career that has allowed me to combine my creative passions with a sense of purpose.

As a self-taught artist and nurse, I have combined two of my passions and made a career in them. My work as a nurse has been significant to me and allowed me to help others in a way I never thought possible. My art has allowed me to express myself and my beliefs creatively. Through my art, I have been able to connect with others in a more meaningful way. I have been able to make a living doing what I love, and I have been able to make a difference in the lives of many.

The first time I used a drill was when I set up our walk-in closet. 🤣🤣Women can do men's work too. When I started making #resinart, I learned how to use many instruments. 😂 I always enjoy learning new things. My process of making a resin tray is letting it dry first and drilling holes for the handles, and when the metal handles are placed in, I put the topcoat resin. It takes me three days to make a resin tray, which includes the drying time of the bottom resin to the topcoat. I will be on vacation for almost three weeks! Yay! So please, bear with me, and I will be back to posting artwork. This resin tray with dried pink flowers will be going to the #philippines. Thank you for your support. The cherry blossom – or Sakura, represents a time of renewal and positivity. When the tree starts to bloom, it signifies the end of winter and the beginning of spring. I’m so blessed to have a Yoshino cherry blossom tree in my front yard and a friend with a Kwanzan Cherry blossom tree willing to share her flowers. This resin candle holder has Yoshino and Kwanzan flowers that I dried. Follow me for more arts and crafts! When we first moved into our house, we almost had our cherry blossom tree removed because it was unhealthy and was dying. But we gave it a chance, took good care of it, and ensured fertilizers were given each year. Now, every spring our beautiful tree gives us beautiful flowers. I've been addicted to collecting and drying flowers. I took some of my Yoshino Cherryblossom tree flowers and pressed and dried them, and added pink roses that I dried. I'm now preserving the dried flowers in resin forever. These heart resin coasters will be a wedding giveaway. I can't wait to make more resin artwork.
